Cobb vineyard church
what to expect
A few minutes before the service our worship team will play an instrumental to signal the beginning of the service. This is a great time to prepare your heart for receiving all that God has in store today.
WORSHIP & COMMUNION
We begin our time together each week participating in musical expression of worship to God. As part of our worship, we will also be receiving Communion. Feel free to use any elements you have available in your home and participate along with us.
WELCOME & ANNOUNCEMENTS
There will be a brief presentation of announcements about what is going on at Cobb Vineyard.
Our Pastor, Thomas Cooley, will present a message from our current series. Scriptures and main points can be viewed on the screen.
Towards the end of our service there is an opportunity to respond to the message by filling out our online connect card. You can also opt in for prayer meeting notifications, find more info on CVC Kids and submit prayer requests.
At the conclusion of our service is an opportunity for anyone to receive prayer for healing, forgiveness, or any other special need they may have through a zoom chat. We will provide a zoom link towards the end of the live service.
You can give tithes, offering or any other donation any time by clicking HERE.
cvc community update
As you know our local school districts have decided to close in an effort to protect the students, parents, faculty and staff from the spread of COVID-19. President Trump has declared a state of emergency and Governor Kemp has asked churches to not hold large public meetings.
We have come to the decision that in cooperation with Governor Kemps request and to protect our CVC family and our community that we will not meet at our facility BUT will be available online at FACEBOOK LIVE at 10:30 a.m. for a time of worship and teaching!! I am so thankful we have this option during this time!! We know that this is temporary but we want to be measured and wise in our response!
As we learn more, we will evaluate week-to-week on what the plan is for each upcoming Sunday!
Many have asked me what they can do, so here are a few options:
1. Pray!! Pray for those affected and those that are susceptible to the virus. Pray for our community, national & world leaders as they guide us! Pray that God will use us to be salt, light & peace in this time of darkness and fear
2. Stay informed - Here is a fact sheet from the CDC with up-to-date data and information that you & your family can use
3. Invite - use this as an opportunity to meet a neighbor and invite them to watch with you online! Who knows - what the "enemy intended for evil" God may use for good!!!
4. Do not Fear - God has this and He will see us through!
I am so thankful for each one of you and am glad we get to navigate through this together!
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." – Philippians 4: 6
