Cobb Vineyard Church is part of the Association of Vineyard Churches

We are one of close to 600 Vineyard churches in the U.S. The Vineyard is also actively planting churches in scores of countries around the world.

Until his death in 1997, John Wimber served as the International Director of the Association of Vineyard Churches. Bert Waggoner is the current U.S. National Director while Bob Fulton serves as Overseas Director of the Vineyard.

The AVC is governed by an 11 member board along with 50+ area pastoral coordinators.

Although each local Vineyard is autonomous, we are drawn together through adherence to common values, priorities and practices while choosing to be accountable to the larger association’s oversight.
