Before you visit Cobb Vineyard, you might be wondering, "What can I expect while I am there?"

First of all, relax! We think you'll have a great time. We have two weekly services begining at 10:00 and 11:30  AM each Sunday, that include great worship music and teaching from God's word. Child care and Sunday school are also available.  Here's a description of a typical Sunday service:

WORSHIP

We sing songs for about 30 minutes. Don't worry if you don't know the songs; we didn't know them either when we first heard them. The song lyrics are projected onto a large screen at the front of the auditorium, so you can read them and sing along when you feel comfortable. You might feel like clapping or lifting your hands, or just sitting and enjoying the music. Either way is perfectly acceptable.

COMMUNION

During our worship time, a member of our church shares a short communion message that lasts three to five minutes, and we then take communion together as a church family. Our guests are welcome to join us in communion.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Immediately following communion, we greet one another and hear some brief announcements regarding upcoming events. Sometimes these announcements are followed by a video presentation, drama or special song.

SERMON

Our sermons are usually delivered by our pastor, Thomas Cooley. The messages are based on topics that are relevant to our lives, and usually last 25-30 minutes.  Bible verses referenced in the sermon are projected onto the screen.

RESPONSE AND MINISTRY

After the sermon, the service concludes with a time of response and ministry. During this time, anyone in attendance is welcome to request and receive prayer for healing or any other special need they may have.

Your entire time with us will be about 80 minutes.

Cobb Vineyard is people of all ages and backgrounds who are passionate about knowing God and each other. You will find us worshipping with all our hearts and serving the community.
